The Bob Mizer Foundation’s archives acquire, preserve and make available still images, slides, negatives, publications, films, ephemera, and artifacts related to Bob Mizer, his contemporaries, the Athletic Model Guild, and the history of and trends in male physique culture and masculinity. Holdings consist of materials that make up the Mizer estate as acquired by the Foundation, as well as materials donated by those who knew and worked with Mizer himself. These objects are used to educate future generations and the general public about Mizer through exhibitions and the creation of curricula that can be used by fine arts programs at colleges and universities throughout the world.

The archives are open by appointment. Researchers may book an appointment in advance of their visit by contacting us.
